Core has the best crew ever, they are all extremely welcoming and kind. They’ve been a huge part of my climbing journey and I’ve gotten so much better in such a short time from their help. They have a great range of climbs and the community is better than anything.
Been coming here twice a week for a few months now and, what an amazing gym! The setters do an incredible job and cater for all skill levels so there's always something there for you. Not to mention the atmosphere is brimming with positivity and friendly faces!
Best gym on the Gold Coast, well worth checking it out
It has awesome facilities. I had raised an issue we were concerned with, and Core Climbing were so responsive, kind and heartfelt and working to assist us with resolving the issue.
There are many different climbing options from absolute beginner to very challenging courses, and my daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere is very relaxed and laid back, with fantastic offers, and very reasonable pricing also!
The facility helps with confidence building as you can try various levels of difficulties at your own pace. It doesn't feel awkward even as a new person there because it seems as though everyone is just focused on what they're trying to achieve. The toilets are clean, opening hours are great so you can stay late, and they have multiple options for snacks/drinks including coffee ☕!

Great gym in the Gold Coast. Very family friendly with no minimum age, good gym to introduce little ones to the sport. You do need to watch for little ones rolling around underneath you though! (Under 12s are supposed to be actively supervised by their carers) A good variety of climbs for all levels. Grades seemed a little random as my son flashed a 6 but one of the 3s took him 5-6 attempts. Overall a great place to spend a few hours if you’re up here and need a break from the beach or missing your home gym.
I have been climbing at Core for almost 2 years now, 3 days a week. Its great for new, intermediate and advance climbers. Staff and community are so friendly, its like having a second family. climb setting style is second to none and the non climbing extras (coffee, yoga, slackline) are fantastic too.
Best bouldering gym I've ever been to. The staff and regulars are incredible, and there with two resets per week so you'll struggle to run out of climbs to suit your ability. Great selection of bouldering gear, snacks and drinks if you need them.
If you sign up for a membership, you can bring a friend for free once a month, and their gym in Cornubia is also included. This place is worth every dollar, you'll love it.
Awesome gym to climb at. Came to Gold Coast for a holiday and had heard good things so had to check them out. Wasn’t disappointed. Super fun climbs. Thanks Ian for a warm welcome.

Great place to have fun with family, children of all ages, friends no matter what if any climbing experience you have had.
Here they have many different rock climbing climbs to try out from the very beginner like we were to the elite.
One set fee that includes your shoes and you can stay for as long as you like. Let me warn you that you will all have heaps of fun and like us will go back to explore/polish our climbing experience.
Staff there are wonderful to, help with all your questions and for the first times you watch a video regarding some basic rules.
